अमेरिकामा पनि नेपालीको पारा उस्तै -एनआरएन अमेरिकामा पनि भद्रगोल, सामुहिक राजिनामा

२१ साउन । अमेरिकाको गैह्र आवासीय नेपाली संघमा निर्वाचन गर्ने सिलसिलामै बिबाद देखिएपछि अध्यक्ष प्रल्हाद केसीसहितका एनआरएनकर्मीहरुले सामुहिक राजिनामा दिएका छन् ।

केसीले आफुले एनआरएन अमेरिकाको कानुन र केन्द्रिय नियम र पद्दती सित मेल खाने, नबाझिने गरि निर्वाचन गर्न खोजे पनि निर्वाचन प्रमुखसित सल्लाह गर्न खोज्दा उनले आफ्नै ढंगले गर्न खोजेपछि बिबाद बढेको औंल्याएका छन् ।

एनआरएनको मूल भावना र संस्थागत अवधारणासित निर्वाचन गर्न खोज्दा निर्वाचन अधिक्रितसित कुरा नमिलेपछि त्यसमा सहयोग होस् भन्ने उद्देश्यले आफूले राजिनामा दिएर बाटो खुला गरिदिएको उल्लेख छ । उनले एनआरएन केन्द्रिय अध्यक्ष जिवा लामीछानेका नाममा राजिनामा दिएका हुन् ।

RE: NRN NCC of USA Mass Resignation

Dear Jiba jee and fellow NRN’s:

I would like to make it very clear that since I have taken the position of President of NRN-NCC of USA, all my official duties has been discharged in accordance of the by-laws of NRN-NCC of USA. With respect to my recent decisions to conduct the election of full board was done in accordance with the by-laws. The NRNA global president and other ICC officials have requested me to facilitate and conduct the election prior to the global conference which is expected to take place in the month of October. NRN-NCC of USA is an affiliated organization of NRNA and I wanted to make sure that our NRN-NCC respects the will of NRNA ICC.

To that end, I have discussed with then election commissioner if he was willing to conduct the election and he indicated that he will rather step aside. Honoring his will, I relieved him from his duties to pave the way for the election. Subsequently, I formed an election commission to conduct the election.

My decisions were not liked by several board members and they made a decision to remove me without following the removal process stated in the by-laws of NRN-NCC of USA. Via media and through the legal notice served to me today, I became aware of such decision.

Fellow NRN’s, please understand that I volunteer my time to advance the causes of NRN and accepted the position of president. I believe in this organization. Therefore, I do not want to create a parallel governance structure. In order to clear the way for the remaining executive board to function in an efficient manner, I am voluntarily resigning from my position of president.

I wish NRN-NCC of USA the best. I will be happy to work with the current committee to facilitate a smooth transition. I would like to thank all of you for giving me an opportunity to serve as your president.
